Los Angeles, CA – Consolidated Flooring, a Corridor Capital portfolio company, announced today the acquisition of Eastpointe Interiors (“Eastpointe” or the “Company”).
Eastpointe, headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, is a leading distributor and installer of floor covering products for commercial properties in Western Michigan. Founded in the 1990s, the Company has consistently provided its customers with superior service and quality products and served as a valued distribution partner to some of the leading flooring manufacturers.
Corridor originally formed Consolidated Flooring in partnership with the management of SCI Floor Covering, Inc. (“SCI”), the leading distributor and installer of floor covering products to the commercial and multi-family markets in Michigan, to both broaden SCI’s product offerings and service capabilities in Michigan and build a best in class, regional leader capable of serving demanding clients throughout the Midwest. Bringing Eastpointe under the Consolidated Flooring umbrella marks Corridor’s and Consolidated Flooring’s second add-on acquisition in support of this broader strategic vision, the first being MC Flooring in Kansas City. Eastpoint’s owner and management team share in this philosophy and sought a partner with the culture, operational capabilities and transaction experience to facilitate a seamless ownership transition, ensure Eastpointe’s customers continue to receive the highest level of service and position the Company for accelerated growth in its core Western Michigan commercial market and new complementary segments.
