Los Angeles, CA – Consolidated Flooring, a Corridor Capital portfolio company, announced today the acquisition of MC Flooring (“MC” or the “Company”).

MC Flooring, headquartered in Shawnee Mission, KS, is the leading distributor and installer of floor covering products for multi-family residential properties in Kansas and Western Missouri. Founded in the 1960s, the Company has consistently provided its customers with superior service, quality and products and serves as a valued distribution partner to some of the leading flooring manufacturers.

Corridor formed Consolidated Flooring in partnership with the management of SCI Floor Covering, Inc. (“SCI”), the leading distributor and installer of floor covering products to the commercial and multi-family markets in Michigan, to both broaden its product offerings and service capabilities in Michigan and build a best in class, regional leader capable of serving demanding clients throughout the Midwest. Bringing MC under the Consolidated Flooring umbrella marks Corridor and Consolidated Flooring’s first add-on acquisition in support of this broader strategic vision. MC’s owner and management team share in this philosophy and sought a partner with the culture, operational capabilities and transaction experience to facilitate a seamless ownership transition, ensure MC’s customers continue to receive the highest level of service and position the Company for accelerated growth in its core Kansas City multi-family market and new complementary segments.

“We are thrilled to have a new partner in MC Flooring. We look forward to collaborating with MC’s management team to continue in our quest of building the best in class flooring installation and distribution company in the region,” said Dave Elberson, SCI’s President.

“We are extremely pleased to have MC join the Consolidated Flooring platform – as with SCI, MC Flooring is the leading player in its market and offers exceptional product quality, customer service and commitment to all its stakeholders,” stated Craig Enenstein, CEO of Corridor. “We look forward to working with MC’s management team and leading Consolidated Flooring to its next phase of growth.”

As a result of the transaction, MC President Bob Shaw and Corridor Vice President Iman Navi will join the Consolidated Flooring board of directors.
