Tae Macias – New Hire, Director, Finance, Operations & Advisory Group

Corridor Capital is delighted to announce the addition of Tae Macias as Director, Finance as part the firm’s in-house Operations Team. Tae brings over twenty years of financial, operating, and entrepreneurial experience, with a focus on building scalable, lean finance departments. She will provide oversight of and support to the Corridor portfolio companies’ finance departments. Tae will provide pre-closing gap analysis and post-closing implementation of the Corridor Foundational Finance program to portfolio companies. She will also advise and support the companies on continued improvement and mentor and project manage special projects.

Prior to joining the Corridor team, Tae was the CFO of National Operations for DermCare Management LLC, a private equity-backed dermatology platform company. In this role, she created alignment between the operations and finance divisions by refining KPI reporting and operational analyses and partnering with division leads to drive strategic thinking and identify operational initiatives required to reach targets.

Prior to DermCare, Tae was the CFO for Skin and Beauty Center, a private equity-backed dermatology platform company, where she facilitated the majority recapitalization, merger, and integration with DermCare Management. In preparation for the recap, she built out a finance function and automated back-office processes, enabling rapid integration of tuck-in acquisitions. Prior to Skin and Beauty Center, Tae was the CFO for COPE Health Solutions, a healthcare consulting firm, where she professionalized the finance function and launched a spin-off entity involving fundraising from strategic investors, enabling the firm to transform from a small regional firm to a mid-sized national firm.

Tae spent the early part of her career as a CPA in public accounting and private practice and as a finance manager with ARTISTdirect, a new media company that went public at the end of the dot-com boom.

Tae earned an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an A.B. in Mathematics from Occidental College.
